The Site Audit consists in surveying the installed process instruments in a plant and the needs to control the process itself.

Advice regarding the equipment and their correct installation is provided, determining if they comply with the requirements the process needs and if they are operating properly. Not only the faults are detected but also their causes are evaluated. Finally a report is issued, summarizing the functional condition of the equipment and the recommendations for improvement and/or a more thorough analysis with the intervention of Hitec’s R&D or Engineering departments.

The plant instrumentation may mask faults: if there are no alarms and the process runs its course, it is assumed that systems and analytical variables are working properly. But it’s not always like this.

Keep the hundreds of instruments present in most industrial plants under control is somewhat complex. Often these instruments do not work properly and yield unreliable measurements.

By not carrying out the actions that allow to solve the instrumentation problems on time, the process efficiency and reliability are lost, compromising security, and even resulting in undesired unscheduled shutdowns.
